If there is a problem with your cooker, check the following details before requesting service to

your dealer Sometimes the cooker may not operate as desired if used incorrectly.

Case Check points Do the following

Is the oven packing on the inner part

of your top cover well inserted and is

there any rice or any other alien

substance on the oven packing or

the upper part of your inner pot?

󳀏 Is the steam being discharged

through the pressure weight?

󳀏 Did you use the measuring cup

to measure your rice?

󳀏 Is the amount of water too much

or too little?

󳀏 Is the rice old or dry?

󳀏 Is the 100% Brown rice used?

When the rice is

not well cooked

When you smell

something burning

after you start cooking

When the cooker

will not operate

with the beep

sound

When the time

cannot be preset

󳀏 Is the Lock/Unlock handle on

the top cover set to lock?

󳀏 Is the current time correct? 󳀏 Set the current time

(Refer to page 24 )

If the

Lock/Unlock

handle isn't set to

lock the cooker will not start cooking for

safety reasons.

󳀏

Cook the rice with the inner pot inside

the main unit.

󳀏

Use only the inner pot designated for this

cooker.

If you use other pots it will not work.

󳀏 This smell can be caused by the dust or oil the parts evaporating from the

heat during the initial use of the cooker. This smell will be gone after using

it a few times.

Bean(Other grains)

is half cooked

󳀏 Is bean(Other grains) too dry? 󳀏

Soaked or steam beans or grains before

cooking in the pressure cooker in order

to avoid partially cooked beans or

grains. Beans should be soaked for-to-

minutes or steamed for-to-minutes prior

to cooking, depending on your taste.

󳀏 Clean all the alien substance on the

oven packing and inner pot.

󳀏 Set the pressure weight Horizontally

so that steam is not discharged.

󳀏 Use the measuring cup to measure

the amount of rice.

󳀏 Set the amount of water correctly

To the scale on the inner pan.

󳀏 Brown rice and white rice appear

in the ratio of three (Brown rice) to

seven (white rice).

Mix White rice & Brown rice same rate.

󳀏

When you want to cook Brown rice

only, add the water about half-scale.
